[q01] How long does a typical project take?
Six to twelve weeks for a first production release, depending on scope. We break work into 2-week sprints with a demo at the end of each.
[q02] What does it cost?
Fixed-price for well-defined scope, time-and-materials for exploratory work. Starting projects typically land between $25k and $120k. We quote after discovery, not before.
[q03] Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We audit first – a one-week assessment that outputs a written report on structure, debt, and risk. You decide whether to continue based on the report.
[q04] Why TypeScript end-to-end?
Type safety across the stack catches integration bugs at compile time, not in production. It also makes codebases readable by engineers who didn't write them – which matters when you take ownership.
[q05] How do you handle state and data layer?
PostgreSQL for persistent data. Prisma or Drizzle for type-safe queries. Server state via React Query or native Astro endpoints. We avoid client-side state management libraries unless the app genuinely needs them.
